I cut off the first 3 blooms yesterday...they got all battered and torn in a thunderstorm we had yesterday and were turning brown at their injury spots--really looked messy-- but the next 3 blossoms were opening so that's what todays picture is of. There is one more bud after that...and then I imagin the plant will get a rest for a while. Dee, thanks I was quite happy to see some color ..but at first I thought that splotch was a beginning of dying off....the next day I was so thrilled to see more and more color and I knew I finally had a colored brug. (All i had last year were 2 white single brugs that I grew from seed--and both of the seeds were from a pink mother Teresa --thanks...Their colors seem a bit similar..but there again ...their faces look different. |
