We now have 6 Sugar Baby watermelons on the vine. We planted 2 plants (transplants) in mid-April. We soon got a melon and it's ripening and should be ready to pick soon. With the wacky weather we had this spring, not much happened other than the one melon. Then, the heat showed up and the melons have really taken off. We had 3 melons pollinate in about 2 days and then 1 each day for the next couple of days. How exciting!
