After I posted above, I checked on my Appleblossom Amaryllis and it has a bud! I'm so excited, and a neighbor gave me a Louisiana iris that is about to bloom for the first time and it looks like it's going to be yellow! I'm excited about that too.

I forgot the name of this plant. I think maybe it was blue hibiscus, but it's leaf is really more like a geranium and it stays green all winter.
