DDE ~ thank you for that info. What a gorgeous bloom that is! Now, I really can't wait. I am uncomfortable about disturbing them at all. I don't always have luck transplanting and would hate to lose these before they even got started.

My friend said they tilled in cow manure before planting and didn't fertilize any more. Can you tell if the foliage is wilty when it needs moisture?

I did rummage around under the leaves and found a few more single plants. Another reason I don't want to dig them up. Seems I have some gardening assistants that love to dig where I have been digging. Sure would hate to KILL those guys ~ plants or pets! LOL
