This is a brown (or black) noddy - I forget. All the birds primarily stayed and nested on Peale until the super typhoon a couple of years ago. Now these are rather a nuisance bird on the large island (Wake) and on Wilkes which was heavily damaged in the typhoon. It was almost impossible to jog or walk in early morning or late afternoon without getting attacked by these guys.
