I went in last night to check the brugs in the stairwell closet, I have a light in the ceiling, and a tall old standup lamp without a shade on a box on the floor.. brugs are on shelves on one wall, on the floor between and infront of the shelf, hanging from a clothing rod, and on a damaged huge speaker box standing upright with a flat tray with a lip on it..
a little itty bitty fan is blowing below the tall lamp on the box. I reach up to turn OFF the ceiling light and I stop and see some things other than the fungus gnats flying around .. three white looking specks of dust they looked like to me and I wear VERY thick trifocul glasses and I am looking up and down trying to get a good view of them, but they were swinging away from the dang fan.. finally it dawned on me to turn OFF the fan... and there are three teeny tiny white spider babies spinning webbs over the stand up light and under the first shelf.. I was like, whoa! I just saw a post about spiders and things on our brugs.. well, I let them be cuz I have a terrible problem with those little black flying things, and I have yellow sticky paper everywhere, and they get so covered up .. I am very grateful to know I have some help in the Brug closet now ... I did notice one of the plants has a few "weird" looking leaves, and I can't see so assuming they are mites..
