I like the look of broms in the yard and have all sorts...Ananas, neoregelia, aechmea, nidularium, billbergia, and xerics like Dyckia, Hechtia, Puya and Deuterocohnia This is a somewhat hard to find xeric called Deuterocohnia brevispicata. It grew in a container outdoors for years. I finally got tired of it poking me when I needed to move it so I planted it out. It has a spread of about 2 ft and the spines are WICKED |
