Jaye, well she and DH messed around till I told them they were going to break the swords before Halloween, yes I am the “parent” of the family, but I keep trying to teach her basic, very basic, sword work and martial arts and she just looks at me like I was telling her to stand on her head.

I’m really proud of the pumpkins I did this year. I’ve been pushing my boundaries for a couple years now; if I keep it up I’ll do something incredible one of these years.

Isn’t it amazing how cats can know when your sick and hang out with you? I know I’m sick when I’m curled up on the couch watching a movie in the middle of the day with two cats on me.

I think it’s 250 for 45-50 min. but I keep messing mine up. Sage wants me to try a recipe her mom gave her for pumpkin seeds, I hate her mom and am suspicious anything to do with her, and the recipe just looks dubious, but Sage says it’s good and I’ll try it out.

I prefer to brine mine first.

Its 51 degrees here this morning and rain for the foreseeable future. I wish it was a nicer Halloween.

BJ, I’m still working on my costume, DH and I are doing full costumes this year. I’ll post pictures later/tomorrow.
