It has edulis leaves but the blooms are solid white and self fruits a yellow fruit. I put in inside my old aviary one winter several years ago and forgot about it till spring, By that time, the roots had gone through the bottom and I just left it there for awhile. This is what it has turned into. That is a 1 gallon pot to give you an idea of the base. Guess I won't be moving it anytime soon. LOL The good thing about it is that it is not root invasive. It has never sent a shoot up from the ground but does have a vine spread of 25 feet so and needs trimming every few months to keep it in check. Oh, and the scent is divine. When in full bloom, you can smell it up to 30 feet away. |
