Just to add to what Hetty said -- plumerias are remarkably resistance to being transplanted and moved. I do it all the time, and they seem to experience no shock at all, but I do water with Vitamin B1 after I transplant or move a plumeria. When you dig up, get as much of the root ball as you can and then transplant and water with Vitamin B1 added to the water. If you live in an area that freezes -- and I think Orlando is in 9b so it does freeze there -- then dig yours up in the fall to store it for the winter and then replant in the spring, and be sure to remove all the leaves as Hetty said after you dig it up and before storage.
