Most everyone will wait till it is in danger of getting frost, then they bring them inside, or take cuttings, and get them started for the next year. There are a coule of ways to root your cuttings, you can put them in water with peroxide, and make sure you change the water every day, until you see little white nubbies on the cutting, then you can place in soil, or you can just lay the fresh cutting on its side in soil cover about half of the cutting with soil.
