Beginner Gardening: The Little Cactus that "could", 0 by bugme

Moved it down to the in-law suite on the other end of the house and seldom go there (unoccupied). Needless to say, it was dead looking. I took it outside in it's pot and pulled all of the long leaves off. We had strong winds recently and the pot was thrown to the ground and broke. The plant is still on the ground and guess what?? New growth is emerging. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me. I'll continue to post pics and see what happens in a few months. Happy gardening:)
