My question is if I want to try and grow them in my yard do I just plant the berry itself or do I need to cut a piece off the vine and transplant it? He says they grow back every year. Also he's got them tied up with string, but I was wondering if it would be okay to plant them alongside the chainlink fence between our yards and just let them grow up it?

Also my other neighbor has two towering mullberry trees ( I think that's what they are called - I know the berries are fabulous though!) and I was wondering if it would be the same thing if I tried to transplant one into my yard.
