Barry, I don't get to this forum very often, but I happened to see your thread today. I just bumped up a thread recently which had all sorts of good fertilizing tips from Happenstance. You might look for that when you have some time. She talks about what she uses including regular ferilizer and fish emulsion.

What you have there is an Epiphyllum oxypetalum. Mine bloom fairly regularly at least twice a year -- once in July and once in September usually. I do feed with MiracleGro a couple of times in the summertime. They just need time and a little maturity to bloom well. Yours is going to need a much bigger container;-) I think mine started blooming about two years after I rooted the first cutting. Yours looks a little small for blooming and probably needs about another year of growth first.
