Recently I collected seeds from the ground underneath various oak and palm trees in Central Florida. After returning to NC, I decided to plant a few of the collection of seeds to see what would happen. While culling through the bag of seeds and dirt, I noticed this one odd seed. It appeared to be a dark colored kind of bean seed. I planted it out of curiosity and within a few days it sprouted and continued to develop at an astounding rate. I have no clue as to what it is, except that it is an interesting plant with magnificent foliage development. I have included a photo of this seedling just 2 weeks from sprouting. Can anyone tell me what it is? Regards - Roy
