Kell wrote: Poppysue, try just the new growth tips in vermiculite. That is what Cala found worked well for her. I use soil, but did root tips also. Before I had done the woody stems and they all died. I think I got 1 or 2 to live but now can't find them........LOL So yours is a true red? I wonder how many colors they come in. My problem is space. They get so big, I rather have another brug to take up the space. But I am so funny, when I saw them at a nursery I grabbed them because of all the admirers at Dave's. And now that I want to get rid of them, I read what you all say and think maybe I should keep them! LOL. I was going to dig them up and send them to Judith, but they are too huge now. I find it hard to kill a heathly plant, takes me forever to do the deed and then if I finally decide to, I send my DH out to do it. That is why my yard is just solid plants, survival of the fittest. Let them decide who will live and who will die. Here is a favorite picture that belongs to Cala, I gave her the green thumb! LOL she deserves it! |
