Caren, last November you sent me a Mountain Magic cutting. Look at her now! She spent most of this year growing and didn't really take off until she sent roots out of the pot and into the ground. Her first two flowers were so badly damaged by grasshoppers (You can still see them damage to the leaves.) that I was ashamed to photograph them. This is her second set of blooms — four of them. They are gorgeous. So dark, especially the flower in the back. She has an exotic fragrance. Difficult to describe. It's windy outside so I had to stick my nose into the flower to smell it. Thank you again. The photo doesn't do her justice. The blooms are darker.
