Well! It came back! Not as big; could be because it's not technically hardy here and also we're in a severe drought (19" low). Since it survived the drought, I guess it's here to stay. Hard to get rid of a tough plant like that.
On a slightly different note, I have two brugs in that same garden and it's close to our bedroom window. It finally got cool enough to open the windows and the wonderful scent coming in from those flowers! Amazing! I have three brugs in pots and one is definately going under that window next year.
