In the 10 months I have had it, the leaf has grown numerous other leaves and is now in a large basket with very big leaves. I found that it is brittle when moved and when a piece broke off, I planted it and now it has leaves. I am waiting for flowers. Hopefully this year ??? It seems to grow from any sort of piece so try cutting one leaf and see how it goes. I don't know the name of mine but am posting a pic so you can see if it is same as yours. The brown mark on leaf in picture is where I bumped it in repotting.
