Hi everyone. I'm a newbie to brugs....inadvertently. I bought a "yellow datura" for $3 at a moving sale and posted my question on the datura forum. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/datura/all/ As it turns out, it's a brug! Based on a few people's suggestions, I had two choices. One, cut both tops off since it is not going to flower by winter, root, and by spring, I will have 3 brugs. Two, leave it as is because it MIGHT flower, but repot and fertilize with 20-20-20.

This is what I have in mind. Cut the taller spindly branch on top to root, and leave the rest of the plant as is and continue to repot and fertilize and see what will happen by winter time. I'm not totally convinced of my decision.....what do you think? Any advice will be appreciated. I know it's only a $3 plant, but now that I know it's a brug, I'd like to keep it for a while. I see all your beautiful blooms and would really like to give it a try. Thanks.
