I would've bought one too if it weren't for that silly rule about two carry on bags (next time I will check my camera or computer and carry on a MQ - yeah, right). I settled for a small one at the plant sale (I decided to try it once again). I have many begonia pots where ferns have come up (okay, maybe I sprinkled some spores in there). Anyway, they make good pairs until the ferns take over. 'Suzanne' is a very slow grower for me. I have 3 I got as cuttings last year. If you find the secret to growing it, let the rest of us know. Same for 'Pink Minx'. I forgot about you saying you were heading to Maui soon. No wonder you got everything potted up. I think mould is more British unless you are talking about moulding (or molding) for your walls. Anyone use Bayer's Rose Care on begonias? I just bought some which is a systemic insecticide, fungicide, and fertilizer. Was this discussed on the Yahoo group? If it was, I glossed over it. Anyway I will give it a go this weekend. Here is another specimen sized plant at A&G. One of the snake series, I think. |
