Liz.. No..I'm not retired just yet..I've a retirement program that lets me work up to and including the day I die... the last day which is optional. Well.. I'm an artist I guess... but gave that up to make a living.. Kind of like an Ace of all trades.. I do most anything.. building wise.. electrical..plumbing.. structural....in the country I've designed and built a few houses.. from digging the hole to handing over the keys.. solar and custom homes... I build anything.. here in the city I do restorations..repairs..instalations.. and most anything to help out a small group of friends.. I try to schedule the brain surgerys I do... to be done early in the week... Mondays or Tuesday...
Felecia.. Yes your Whiskers is a welcome part of Paradise here... It's grand aroma alone secure it's place... looking foward to more blooms out of last falls cutting...yes,, like most everything else..she could use more pot...
Shirley... Well Thanks .. Mowing.. well I ahve an electrical weed trimmer... I just buzz over the lawn some with it.. then rake.. it does help with the cooling/heating below I'm sure..but it's just for the visual relief.. years ago I had an inside lawn... it helps to elevate the spirit.. Did you read Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein..
Shelly.. yes it's fun to sit up there... but relaxing is hard in ones own garden... so many voices calling out.. each with a suggestion as to something to do for them.. night time is quieter up there..everything looks better in candle light..
Elaine.. Thanks... it's my pleasure to share the pictures of the garden.. I don't get to show it off much...so few have seen it.. as there is only a couple of places that look upon it... not like a ground garden that can bring joy to many passers by.. but I can garden wearing most anything or nothing.. like a remote country place...
Lala... yes..the angel trumpets are real special...few plants can go from a cutting to a large blooming tree in a season.. and fewer still with such a floral display.. and Fragrance..well none better... well visit another year... I might have another here... but it's too cold in the winter..not like Midland City.. a bit colder than mothers .. outside of Ardmore ,AL
and another nightime photo ..for thoes that like the sparkle of the city... Gordon
