I know C-Stars supplies the Home Depot's in Southern California, but I think there might be a different supplier in Northern California. It doesn't surprise me what you said about some of the plumerias looking like death if C-Stars was the supplier. Their greenhouses are extraordinary hot so they use a mix which stays wet, and some of their cuttings rot in their greenhouses because of this. When they get watered daily by Home Depot in not so hot conditions, they rot as well. I've seen many a sad-looking Home Depot plumie from C-Stars. They really ought to change their mix. I too have rescued a few;-)
