I say-just go for it! Thats what I do-esp if it is at least rated a zone 8

I must say-there were a few times when it was cold in the afternoon when I didn't feel like going out there and wrapping it-and it only took a few minutes-but now that it made it through-I am glad that I did.

Here is a shot of the front bed-all the tropicals that you see there (not the lantana and coleus) made it thru the winter
