I think you are right that the damage is probably caused by a Katydid. By the way, I finally caught and killed that tiny Katydid that was in my greenhouse. It was making small little holes in the flowers that he ate. I know you'll be able to spot the bite marks in my picture, Robert. It is good that you keep an eye out because a few of these guys can keep you from enjoying the flowers.
