Jody, you would probably love 'Kauka Wilder.' It has the same colors as 'Intense Rainbow' but in different intensities. The fragrance is out of this world. It is a must-have for every collector.

It takes an average of 2-3 years to bloom from seed if you are lucky. I think 4-5 years is more accurate. I sowed 40 seeds in December 2004. Three bloomed at around two years old. Ten more bloomed at around three years old. So that leaves 27 more that have not bloomed yet for me and may be waiting until they are nearly four years old or even five years old to bloom, and I am in an ideal climate where they stay outside all year. It could take longer in a climate where they have to be stored in a cool garage or basement during the winter. For the fastest results, it is best to keep them growing with heat and lights during the winter in a greenhouse or house. In the meantime, it is helpful to have established plants going at the same time so you can enjoy some flowers while you are waiting for the seedlings to bloom.
