Stepping out to take Bennie to school yesterday I heard this very familiar igh pitch shrilling sound (sounds kinda like a dog whining). I have been listening to the sounds of certain birds over and over so that I would quickly recognize them and know what to look for. Well there they were, a small flock of Cedar Waxwings in the neighbors tree directly across the street>> I am waiting to see if they will come in closer and take the dried cherries from my tree in back by my window..
