The nice thing about the seed is that no matter how it turns out it will produce a plant that has edible fruit, it just won't be exactly like the parent. I have a client that has several different kinds of hybirds and all summer long I am pulling up seedlings that the squirrels have planted in the flowerbeds. To get mango to sprout you really need a tree ripened fruit/seed and warm night time temps (mid-70's). I will be working there tomorrow, it I find a sprouter that I have missed (the place is over an acre) I might be convinced to save it for you. |
