I know people say wisteria is invasive but I do not see it being that here and I see it growing in a lot of yards. I wonder why. You think it depends if it is grafted?

I was visiting a friend 3 years ago in Pacifica and across the street was an incredible house painted with so much fun in mind. She also had 3 wisteria trees on the hill up to her house. They were huge and so grand. I will have to go back this next spring to take some pictures. It was so odd to see a big wisteria tree that really had a true tree form and in full bloom. I hope you succeed.
