LOL.. so true, Loretta. In this case, however, a good long Rumplestilsken nap might be in order.. all rested and ready for Spring.

LOL Loretta, where you been hanging out. Why don't you plan on coming back to the Ga. roundup next spring. Would really like to see you again.

A nap does sound good Barb. I guess the rest from the plants renews us as much as it does the garden each year. I just wish I had a green house that I could have my brugs up and ready to go in the spring and not have to wait so long for them to put on blooms.

I am trying to do the whole tree in the bubbler with Adeline that I got from Delisa. She has two tiny little buds. I mean little. Hopefully she will bloom and hopefully she will be ready to go in the ground next spring large and ready to bloom. That Adeline is a beauty and Delisa is so sweet. Thanks Delisa.

Oh my mind is already racing toward beautiful spring. I was looking at wisteria pictures earlier today and wondering why I didn't spend more time sightseeing such incredible bloom. Next year I am going to enjoy so much more.

I want to go to more places where they have gardens I can only have in my dreams. Beautiful places with beautiful foliage, beautiful blooms and beautiful garden vignettes. I am so ready.

The Continuum

Yesterday begat Today,
Today begets tomorrow.

Spring, sprouting
Summer, blooming
Fall, fading
Winter, dying.

Ressurection awaits,
another spring ...

Time and Life
continues.

I got a wisteria last year and intend to grow it into a tree form. That thing is putting out new growth every two feet underground. I thought it might look good with some kudzu wrapping around it. For those that have never seen kudzu bloom, here it is.

Nice poem Kell.

LOL Jim!! Kudzu is fighting words in some parts. So you have it growing near you? I had never even heard of it till I came to Dave's. I hear it makes the best jelly. Does it get totally covered in those flowers?

I know people say wisteria is invasive but I do not see it being that here and I see it growing in a lot of yards. I wonder why. You think it depends if it is grafted?

I was visiting a friend 3 years ago in Pacifica and across the street was an incredible house painted with so much fun in mind. She also had 3 wisteria trees on the hill up to her house. They were huge and so grand. I will have to go back this next spring to take some pictures. It was so odd to see a big wisteria tree that really had a true tree form and in full bloom. I hope you succeed.

Here is one of the spring photos I was looking at this morning.

Well I was going through one of those "dark night of the soul" things this past year but I am back again and all is well. It would be great to see you again and the GARU was such fun I might have to do it again. How is everything for you? I trust the problem with your eye(s) has gone away. I love wisteria standards and have tried to do one but had to move before it got going. That kudzu bloom looks so pretty makes you want one until you see it action. They would cover the roads here if the county did not bushhog em back.

Oh yeah it will take over a yard in a day. It doesn't have a lot of blooms. The wisteria here grows in top of trees for miles in the spring time. Oak trees, willows, anykind it will run to the top of the trees and for miles be purple along side the roads.

Loretta my sight has gotten worse. I did have double vision real bad only when I looked to the right. Now it has started when I look straight ahead. Not as bad as when I look to the right but enough to bother me. I was putting an armoir together today and didn't have any problems until I came to a place where the screws didn't have a predrilled hole for them and I couldn't get the two pieces to line up right. Finally gave up and called one of my sons to come help me. They still don't know what is causing it. The doctor said it was 100% caused by a diabetic condition. I went and had diabetic test 3-4 times, one the 6 hour test and it still was negative.

I am sorry to hear about your vision. Double vision must be a bit disorienting for you. It is frustrating not to have a definitive answer about the cause. What's worse is you can't even go out and tie one on cause then you would have quadruple vision. LOL Just kidding, sometimes all we can do is keep a sense of humor and carry on.

LOL My family kids me all the time when I run into a problem doing something and ask for help. They say one of the visions is acting up but the other one should be fine. The double vision I have is one above the other and sometimes I really get disoriented. I guess the good thing is I see two of all my plants. I can live with it if it doesn't get any worse. Just never know what tomorrow may bring.
Hey maybe if I tie one on it won't make any difference. I haven't thought of that. LOL

Thanks Loretta, It sure does me good to see you posting again. I thought the lady I ate lunch with once was gone for good.

Thanks you are too kind! I missed chatting with you too. You lucky dog, two plants for the price of one. Bet your brugs are awesome when they are in full bloom. Maybe there are some benefits to this getting older thing. lol
