RainGazer wrote: Key, I covered it back up yesterday, so I'll just water a few drops at a time from now on. Thank you for telling me that. I'm going to still keep my fingers crossed that it will set seed, but won't be disappointed if it doesn't. How often do they usually bloom? I love the micro minis! LOL Joanne, you noticed that the glass is clean, and all I could see is how dirty my blinds are! I wiped it down after I potted the Siningia in it and only pick it up by the stem. That's all I can figure, cause I sure don't put a lot of effort into cleaning (refer back to the blinds!) Thank you Jan, Allison, and April! I was terrified of the little thing when I got it. It is so small, I just knew I'd kill it, but once I got brave enough to repot it in that glass, it took off growing like crazy! I've been shocked at how easy it is to grow! So, of course, I had to go see how many other micro mini Sinns there are, and now my wish list is that much longer! LOL Key so generously sent me several other things...Episcia 'Kee Wee', Episcia 'Silver Skies', Sinningia cardinalis, Episcia 'Strawberry Patch'. Key, if I forgot something, please forgive me. Here's a picture of E. 'Strawberry Patch' and Sinningia cardinalis. The two other E.s are in my terrarium and I don't have a picture of those handy. |
