So, here's my question, this is doing remarkably well planted in the ground. I have two more in 1 gallon cans that aren't bad, but not as big as this. So what do we collectively think about that theory/advise that begonias like to be tight in their pot? I do have a high clay soil, but this area has been amended for 15 years so it's fairly nice. This is my largest leaf begonia, I have b. nelumbiifolia, but it's struggling at the moment. I think it has larger leaves in general.
