In Streps however, even though I used this plant as the mother, there is no gaurantee the offspring will be all variegated.

Yes, you can use the pollen from a blossom to pollinate the same blossom. This happens often naturally. If I would have done that, I would refer to it as 'Iced Canadian Sunset X Self'.

I will follow up with the progress. Here's a photo of the dried seed pod and some of the seed that has spilled out.
