Oh Bob that is just so lovely. You must adore it. I am going to grow more of the tubers next year. They really are miraculous how they grow such big fleshy plants from those funny looking tubers.

Betty, I bought my Aristolochia gigantea last year in a small pot at a local nursery. I got a couple of flowers. It lived all winter outside and just started flowering now. It is in a tall slender pot and it has taken off. I think it is so neat looking. It has been so very easy for me as it seems to live on neglect. I also have a miniature one that hasn't flowered yet this year. It is so neat in that it makes a basket out of its seedpod and holds the seeds inside. This basket is from last eyar, and look, it is still on and full of seeds. LOL
