I checked those photos and I'm not sure I see any difference in the calyx of each. Mine is certainly paler (could be hot weather) and the skirt doesn't seem to flare as much even when fully open. Hmmm. I just took this photo so the blooms aren't open as far as they were earlier this AM.

V, help me to understand the differences in what I'm seeing. I was able to pull both pics up side by side and I'm still confused.
