Last year the first Ruthie brug had to be tossed. I think it had cucumber mosaic. I kept thinking it had mites but it would not clear. She got sick around the time my Mom died. How weird is that? I kept her going for too long till her neighbor got the same leaf distortions. Then they both had to go. Thankfully I had started a few much earlier, the one you see is a huge sucker she had. I was so glad I had done that. Usually I dawdle way too long before I do things and had I done that here she would be but a memory. My advice is always take cuttings as soon as you know you like a brug. You never know when lightning will strike.

Here she is just now. This is taken from the back because I can't really get to her from the front. As usual, everything grows so much faster than I expect them to do.
