If this forum hadn't been here I would never have gotten any buds at all if I had followed "someones" advice. "Someone" told me that one HAD to CUT the brugs so they formed a Y in order to get buds. Weeeeeeel reading all your post for "some" time now (all winter every day to be honest :0)) have taught me how to. Can tell you that "someone" never got hers to put up flowers. I haven't got a clue on what colour this one is going to be, nor do I have a name for her. Last fall the neighboring gasstation/motell filed for bankruptcy and the owners left. When they had been gone for about a month a took a stroll with my dog to the back of the motell. It was late Oktober and we have had frost for over a month HARD frost. I found these pots left there. I couldn't tell if it had been Brugs or Dats. All I could see that they where all slimy of the frost. I took all seven pots home. I didnt want them to rot so I took them out of their pots and let them dry out. Later in the winter I saw that some of them had started to grow from the root. I carfully started to water a bit so they could grow stronger and even later I cut them off the root and potted them up. Well today the first bud have started to open. She is about 3 ft high.
