I also have used Miracle Grow for years but the older formula has a very high nitrogen content. I use with great results on all my in ground brugs as well as some of my potted ones the cheapest 16-16-16 granular form Home Depot sells or even 20-20-20. I leave it up to the plant to decide which it wants to eat more of. LOL

Epsom salts should probably not be used very often, but just as a pick me up once in awhile.
