I've used lawn and garden fertilizer, Osmocote, Miracle Grow, Peters 20-20-20, CalMag 15-5-15, and many organic things too. They aren't picky and will even bloom without fertilizer. However, if you plant in soilless mix in a pot, I would feed them. After mine had to go without food last summer, they didn't do well. Once fed regularly, they bloomed like crazy again. My best results are with Miracle Grow, Peters, and CalMag. I basically stick with the CalMag now. It's good to hear you are having fun with your brugs. Before long you will have more than you know what to do with. Mine are all in the ground or potted except two big ones still in the house. Tomorrow they go out under a tree for a while. I think I have around 65 or more this year. Not sure.... haven't counted yet. |
