Tropicals & Tender Perennials: Would a Brug do well here?, 0 by cnswift

Hi, I have this kind of sad looking planting bed that needs some help. In the summer the heat from this wall bakes the plants here and my camellia really needs to be moved. I also have a new puppy and need to move a couple poisonous plants out of the back yard and into the front. What do you think, would a brug do well in this hot spot? I think it would look nice, especially when it gets a little height. I have one (pink ice?) that I was thinking of for here, and then maybe filling in around the bottom with some daylillies that also need to be moved.
