I've got a Potato Chip Palm (Chamaedorea tuerckheimii) and I'm wondering about its leaf color. The plant is growing regularly and even putting out a new leaf in winter.

The leaves are not a uniform green. I was feeding at half the recommended dose during summer with Peters Brand 20-20-20 and stopped fertilizing in October. It is watered when the soil surface is dry. It receives high indirect light, but not direct sunlight.

The picture was taken in October 2005 right after I misted it.

I should also add that the plant shows no signs of bugs, mites, or fungus. Overall, the plant is healthy, but I'm wondering about the leaf coloring.

Thanks for any info.
