I don't know what zone your in, but you can check and see when your first frost is. They grow outside here in my Zone 10 and bloom in winter through spring. I took mine out because it got too big for the space that it was in and because I didn't like that the dead blooms hang on and make the vine look ugly for the rest of the year.
