Brugie, the link you sent, I don't think that is what they are. They look too big & start at 1/4 inch. These are much smaller. Mine are about the body size of an aphid. I tried to zoom in with my camera but they are just so small that I failed miserably. Here is what I took this morning.
So far it is only us Northern Californians that have them, huh? Lucky us. LOL
I have not attempted to kill them as they do not appear to be hurting anything and I figured they would go away on their own. They are always where the pollen is so I thought perhaps they would earn their keep. I seem to be on a migratory path and often get odd things and then suddenly they are gone.
