I have a nifty wee tripod though, so that works for me. My sister fell in love with this one while she was visiting me recently so we went looking on ebay. Seems they are now going for $250-350, depending on what comes with the camera. Nothing spectacular, but here's a shot of my very first apple this season, taken today, no tweaking.
