Clare, it's already grafted onto the rootstock when I got it. I guessed that it grows slowly because of poor quality rootstock. In fact I should have said its color is pink with a hint of purple. In my opinion, blue is much more exciting. Siam Lavender is more purple and has some blue color in it.

Roger, I know exactly what you mean. Thirty hrs on the plane from FL to Thailand and 12 hrs time difference are no fun.
