EmmaGrace wrote: Ron, This vine is gone now that we were talking about - Your note: "That unusual Koukan bloom is very unusual because not only is it producing a lighter color, but seems to have the lighter color over a wider area of the flower than when the Koukan blooms are the usual color...most times a dilution will cover less area than the darker color that it is derived from...but,obviously there are exceptions...That lighter bloom reminds me of an oversized purpurea...are the sepals on that vine shorter than on most of your other nils..." These were the last blooms - which I have tagged. http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1702284 http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1703728 Gail, Love your eensy-weensy Matsukaze - and your 'Henka Blue' is GORGEOUS! LOVE THAT COLOR! Gail, Here is my 'Purple Shibori NOT' - This is not the same vine as this one 'Akathoukinoumi' http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1703693 The Blue colors are the same, but the throat on this one is not as large as the 'Akathoukinoumi', which I think we left it that still needed a name???? And, did we decide what this one is yet from the 'Purple Shibori NOT'???? Emma |
