It was a bamboo shoot that came up from below the table and it was A- over Teakettle for everything on it. The lowest leg is 15" off the ground. The bamboo shoot grows (I kid you NOT, cross my heart) 1 foot per day!!! Yes...it is edible but only cooked and who could eat a stirfry that big. Easily available at the market. I totally believe in the 'urban' legend of torturing/killing a man by tieing him down over a bamboo shoot. ARGGGGG
