This clematis is 1 of 4 of the Raymond Evison Signature Series developed for the Bicentenary Plant Collection to celebrate 200 years of the Royal Horticultural Society, the United Kingdom's leading gardening association.

These clematis were developed for their strength, resistance to disease, and long flowering habit. They are supposedly a great improvement over the older cultivars. They have the longest blooming time of any other clematis for it goes from June thru October.

The 4 clematis in this collection by Raymond Evison are
Wisley, Rosemoor, Hyde Hall and Harlow Carr, all are named after the four RHS gardens.


Yes, a bougie standard in a pot. Just about all woken up from its winter sleep. The tree behind it is a Solanum rantonetti trained to be a tree.
