Margie sent out invitations to people for months, she had her daughter print up really nice name tags for us to use and then bought holders for them to set in. She came out Friday and brought lunch, supplies, blew up balloons, drove her car so I could jump out and tie up balloons to mark the way. She helped me put up the 2 dining flies in the photo below. (Oh, Margie! If only they knew!!! : - } ) She brought ice, tablecloths, a table, a bag of soil and pots in case anyone wanted to repot/divide anything. She paid for half the brisket (that we bought precooked at HEB. Thanks, Tim Duncan!), plus brought wonderful gifts for a terrific game. She also drove me 10 miles one way to the post office to get a package and fronted me $10 for sodas when I forgot my wallet. And I would be willing to bet there is WAY more she did that I forgot!!
