Granted...I live in a greenhouse environment...but there are times I need to help the little ones get a good start in life. Here are some of my solutions for: rooting tired thin leafed cuttings that spent too long in the mail; rooting cuttings of other types of plants that really do better in a mist house; and starting seeds. I leave the tops on so I can unscrew them and mist into the bottle...or I open it just a bit where it meets the bottom. The enclosures are NOT airtight so I don't need to relieve the moisture.

The far right bottle has Brugmansia seeds..and sprouting them this way has been FAR more successful than any other method I have used.
